Virtual Reality: An ultramodern invention in technology
Virtual reality
As technology is turn out to be ultramodern and it has many new and innovative invention, virtual reality is one of its creation. It allows a user to interact with a computer environment and imagine experiencing in reality.
The current use virtual reality settings are mainly visual experiences, displayed either on a big computer screen through special stereoscopic displays, but most of the simulations encompass additional sensory information, such as sound through speakers or headphones.
Some complex systems now include tactile information, usually known as force feedback, in medical and gaming applications.
Users can interact with a virtual environment or a virtual artifact (VA) either through the use of standard input devices such as a keyboard and mouse, or through multimodal devices such as a wired glove, the Polhemus boom arm, and/or Omni-directional treadmill.
The virtual environment looks like to the real world, for example, settings for pilot or combat training, or it can differ significantly from reality as in VR games.
