Adele won the best album award at 2017 Grammys

The British singer Adele won the biggest award in music for the album “25”, which turned out to be the second-biggest selling of the century. In spite of sales, the critics were not in high spirits because they believed that the award would go to Beyonce for her album, Lemonade.

The award was concluded an eventful night for Adele but she had to stop her tribute to George Michael because of technical difficulties. She also won song of the year, best pop solo performance, and record of the year for Hello, whereas for 25 she also picked up best pop vocal album.

In her speech Adele pay tribute to Beyonce, who didn’t make out on the best album award again. “The way you make my black friends feel is empowering,” she said in a speech where she paid tribute to her management team as well for cheering her up to return and record 25.
