Amazing: Now you can control your Smartphone with tattoos
Now using a Smartphone will become easier because a new innovation in technology has arrived. Scientists at the MIT Media Lab and Microsoft Research have created metallic body art that can control& communicate with electronic devices for instance Smartphones or laptops.
Duoskin temporary tattoos can be made at home and wash off in a day, by using the electrodes present in inexpensive gold leaf to make a conductive surface. The tattoos look like gold leaf and a thin layer of silicon stick to the body to create an “edge” on the skin that when you touch the edge it can control certain commands to your electronic device.
The researchers designed three different kinds of tattoos. The first is designed to control the cursor of the computer or adjust a music player. The second uses thermochromic pigments that change the color when body temperature arises. The last one uses near field communication technology to share personal data, such as photos, connecting your phone and the tattoo.
The scientists wanted to show that wearable technology can be actually customizable
“It’s something that you own and not a one-size-fits-all wearable. You can design it and it can really cater to your needs and your personal sense of style,” said Cindy Hsin-Liu Kao, one of the researchers behind the project.
