Facebook: a new feature that allows you to post jobs
Facebook is a most grossing social networking website and it has a challenging history in terms of providing different features to its users. It already has added up enough features for the users and now it seems Facebook is following LinkedIn.
It is heard that Facebook has started from yesterday, a new feature that will allow the businesses both in U.S and Canada to post job listings to their Facebook page on in the new job bookmark.
Initial success of job posting on Facebook
Facebook started testing the feature last November in small businesses and the results were positive with the platform.
“It was great because it was easy,” uttered Wendy Grahn, co-owner of the Chicago-based Lakeview Kitchen & Market in an official report on Facebook. “It took three minutes to fill out the information and put it out there. Then someone saw the post, we talked, and it was done.”
With the new feature, users will be able to view the posts in potential applicants’ newsfeed, it will allow the businesses to maximum reach the people who probably are not aware of the position. When an candidate clicks on the “Apply Now” button, a form will pop-up on the screen, to fill up the application process is as simple as posting the job itself.
Finding the appropriate talent for your business can be very scary with Facebook, though facebook has solved this problem by making it totally easy for businesses to create job posts, track applications and communicate with the candidates all from the social media platform.
And while LinkedIn is a top-notch professional network for recruiting, Facebook has also taken a step for the businesses to easily seek the suitable candidates for the job at hand. It might catch on quickly as businesses can now post jobs in a place where an immense audience already exists.
